Who we are

KAL Driven (Pty) Ltd (registration 2012/024653/07) is the responsible party for personal information collected through kaldriven.co.za. This notice explains what we collect and how we use it, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect

When you send a quote enquiry we collect the details you enter:

• your name, company, email address and phone number
• the service you need, collection and delivery points, and the load details you describe

Our web host also records standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and to block spam. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

We use your details only to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote and, if you appoint us, to arrange and document the transport. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Who sees it

Enquiries go to our office staff who handle quotes and dispatch. Our website and email service providers process the information on our behalf and are required to keep it secure.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become work are deleted within 12 months. Where you appoint us, records are kept for as long as the law requires for transport, tax and audit purposes.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing admin@kaldriven.co.za. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
